As part of the "Increasing Resilience of Local Authorities for Forest Protection and Wildfires" project, the Greek partner KEAN (Kyttaro Enallaktikon Anazitiseon Neaon) organised a webinar on 16 December. The online event aimed to share knowledge on increasing the capacity of local authorities to prepare for and respond to wildfires.
A total of 30 participants from different countries and sectors attended the webinar. KEAN's experts presented examples of successful forestry practices in Europe, fire prevention strategies and crisis management processes.

The webinar created a platform for interactive exchange of information among the participants and produced important results that will contribute to the project's objectives. Participants said that they had benefited greatly from the knowledge and experience shared by KEAN.
The event helped to strengthen cooperation between the project partners and to build international links in forest protection.
