About the project
The project aims to increase the capacity for forest protection and for wildfire preparedness and response by encouraging the sharing of knowledge and good practice between local authorities on climate change adaptation and environmental protection.
Carried out in partnership with Çukurova University, Karaisalı Municipality, the Municipality of Rafina-Pikermi (Greece) and KEAN (Kyttaro Enallaktikon Anazitiseon Neaon), the work supports the vision of building a community that is resilient to wildfires at regional and international level.

Our goals
Local authorities that are prepared for wildfires, learn from each other and build long-term cooperation.
